Mannequins So Gorgeous You’d … Well, You Get the Idea.
Seriously, Carmine had to look twice when he arrived to the shoot. He’d been told he was shooting some dummies and he didn’t hear any whining and complaining- it was just all wrong. These mannequins, produced by a company called VerTex, are as life like as the CG used at the beginning of Nip/Tuck- these are not your old school mannequins. They are, ah, very anatomically correct and wear clothing better than most live models. For the photographer that means no breaks for potty, no bored, tired or hungry models and efficiency in shooting. Carmine and stylist, Amanda Swisher Trevino invaded Todd Fiscus’ Apartment space for a truly rock star back drop for this campaign. Many thanks to the staff there for their help.
